Meet Daniel

Project Leader
MEng CEng MIStructE

After graduating in 2014, Daniel spent the first six years of his career working for Alan Baxter in central London. There he gained a broad range of experience designing adaptations and extensions to existing buildings. This included the redevelopment of the Victorian Theatre at Alexandra Palace and the refurbishment of the 18th Century Dreadnought Seamen’s Hospital building to form the modern student hub for the University of Greenwich. He became a Chartered Member of Institution of Structural Engineers in 2018.

In 2020, Daniel moved to New Zealand and has since worked on a wide range of projects, including the Te Kaha Stadium in Christchurch, and the South East Asia precinct at Auckland Zoo. Daniel joined Pocket in July 2024 as a Project Leader responsible for directing projects through from inception to completion.

Daniel particularly enjoys the challenge of working with existing buildings to be able to come up with creative structural solutions to complex constraints using a variety of structural solutions and materials.
